Jennifer Spencer
Jennifer Spencer holds a doctorate in painting and
art history from Illinois State University. Best known
for her figurative works in watercolor and pastel,
she has been widely exhibited in the Dallas
metroplex and elsewhere, taking numerous prizes
and awards. She is equally respected as an
educator; she has taught for more than 20 years in
Dallas area colleges and universities and gives
frequent guest lectures. For more than 10 years,
she worked as an art consultant, helping to build
numerous private and corporate collections. She
was also involved in the development of numerous
sculpture gardens, including that of Dallas'
historical Meadows Building.
Jennifer is currently a director and founding
member of American Juried Art Salon, a nonprofit
organization that sponsors national juried art
exhibitions biannually.
