About Todd:
Mr. Thomas' interest in art began as a child while living in Europe. He started his education in fine
arts at Richland College in Dallas, TX, under artist Tom Motely; training from the sketch books of the
Masters, particularly Michelangelo and Dali. Mr. Thomas continued his education under tutelage of
artist Jim Stover, then moved on to the well-known fine arts department of the University of North
Texas in Denton, TX. Mr. Thomas applied his training to a successful career in publishing
illustration, working many years at ACE The School of Tomorrow, illustrating curriculum.
To overcome the effects of a life-altering auto accident that almost ended his artist career, Mr.
Thomas expanded on his creative influences and training of the European Masters, to carve out the
beginnings of a successful career in contemporary fine art. With special assistance and
encouragement from artists Steve Miller and Don Adair, Mr. Thomas has been able to overcome his
physical challenges and continue his journey as a progressive visionary artist.
Mr. Thomas currently resides in Dallas, TX., visiting Southern California and Oregon often for creative
inspiration and art shows. He has three children and recently became a first time grandfather.
